3年前,成都人马帅找到四川大学的校友、香港中文大学计算机科学与工程系博士陈俊周,提出创意:成立一家科技公司,通过研发新产品,为客户提供高效翻译服务。彼时,马帅已在语言服务行业打拼了近16年,从兼职翻译到成立小型翻译公司,他深知人工翻译于客户有耗时、价高等痛点。

Three years ago, Ma Shuai, a native of Chengdu, found Chen Junzhou, Ph.D. of Computer Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, an alumnus of Sichuan University. He came up with the idea of setting up a technology company to provide efficient translation services to customers through research and development of new products. At that time, Ma Shuai has been working in the language services industry for nearly 16 years, from part-time translation to the establishment of a small translation company, he is well aware of the pain point of time-consuming and high price of manual translation for customers.

2016年, 四川译讯信息科技有限公司在高新区成立。二人分工明确,马帅更多地负责拓宽销售渠道,陈俊周主攻技术突破。2018年7月,二人又邀来川大校友,正在美国伊利诺伊大学做访问学者的支炜加入,主攻产品研发。为什么选择在成都创业?马帅给出的答案是,“首先我是成都人,其次成都的创业成本低。”他坚信,成都是其创业地的不二选择。

可感知的数据是:公司的总业务量开始呈现出年15%-20%的增长。国外客户实现了从无到有的突破,占比达公司总客户数的10%,并持续增长。按照支炜的测算,去年10-12月,他们的国外客户开始增多,美国、澳大利亚、日本等国的企业找上门来,希望提供多国互译服务。本土用户在世界市场的拓展,也增加着公司的业务。一家成都外贸企业,去年把市场从英美等国拓展到俄罗斯,需要中俄互译。于是找到译讯,想要使用其人工智能翻译产品,高效、便捷地获得翻译内容。支炜认为,外企客户的增多,成都企业向国际拓展的速度,自家公司总业务量的提升,都在佐证一个事实——成都的国际化水平正在不断提升。成都将今年作为“国际化营商环境建设年”,这里的国际化、法治化、便利化营商环境会更优质。2019年,三位“成都合伙人”计划将业务量翻3-5倍,业务量达到3000万元-5000万元。
